HISTORY

AS A CHILD GROWING UP, I ALWAYS LOOK AT MY GRANDFATHER AND GREAT UNCLE WITH ENTHUSIASM AND LOVED TO HEAR THEIR ROAD STORIES. SO, WHEN I HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE MY CDL OUT OF THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORP I WAS ENTHUSIASTIC ON HAVING THE EASY OF OBTAINING IT FOR FREE FROM MY MILITARY BENEFITS. WHEN I TOLD MY FATHER ABOUT MY DECISION ON MY CAREER CHOICE, HE DECIDED TO OBTAIN HIS OWN CDL AND AUTHORITY AND START A TRUCKING COMPANY OF HIS OWN IN 2011 SO ID HAVE A GREAT WAY OF GETTING MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

WE STARTED WITH A DAY CAB A 30 FOOT FLATBED PULLING LOCAL LOADS OUT OF MENARDS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. COMING INTO OUR FIRST WINTER WE REALIZED THAT THE LOADS WEREN'T THERE TO CONTINUE TO KEEP UP WITH OPERATING EXPENSES. SO WE PURCHASED A 1999 PETERBILT 379 AND SIGN ON WITH USA TRUCK THEN EVENTUALLY JONES MOTOR COMPANY. WITH OWNING THE PETE WE HAD A ISSUE OF COOLANT LOSS FROM OVER PRESSURIZED SYSTEM SO WITH TALKING TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE SAYING THE HEAD GASKET WAS BLOWN INTERNALLY. WITHOUT COMPLETELY RELYING ON THEIR DIAGNOSIS WITH WHAT THEY HAD TO SELL US ON AS LITTLE AS $8,000 DOLLAR REPAIR WHICH LEFT US WORRIED ON HOW WE COULD AFFORD OR IF IT WAS GOING TO END AT $8,000.  WE RESEARCH IT OURSELVES AND FOUND A TEST TO TEST THE GASES COMING OUT OF THE RADIATOR WHICH THEY SAID THEY WEREN’T AWARE OF.  WITH OUR FINDINGS WE FOUND THAT IT WAS A NOT BLOWN HEAD GASKET BUT THAT IT WAS THE COMPRESSOR HEAD LEAKING AIR INTO THE COOLANT THROUGH OUR OWN RESEARCH WE SAVED OURSELVES $7,700 AND NO LONGER TRUSTED THEM BECAUSE THEY NOT ONLY WANTED TO SELL US A HEAD GASKET BUT THEY ALSO LEANED MORE HEAVILY ON A POSSIBLE ENGINE REBUILD

WE LEARNED THAT DEALERSHIPS AND OTHER SERVICE CENTERS HAVE A COMMON PRACTICE OF DECEPTION IN HOPES TO SEPARATE YOU FROM YOUR MONEY AND HAVE LITTLE TO NO CARE AND PREY OFF YOUR DESPERATE SITUATION.

AFTER MULTIPLE CONTRACTS WE FOUND THAT WE HAD TO BRANCH OUT ONTO  LOAD BOARDS TO SURVIVE AND PURCHASED ANOTHER TRUCK WHICH WAS A 2009 VOLVO 880 PULLING ALL OIL SAMPLES. EVEN THEN WITH REPAIR AFTER REPAIR WHICH WE DID OURSELVES WE ENDED UP FOLDING THE COMPANY DUE TO A CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. HAVING A NEW FAMILY OF MY OWN I WENT OUT TO FIND A W2 JOB. WITH WORKING FOR HOTLINE FRIGHT IN ROCKFORD. WITH P&D AND LTL OUT IN CHICAGO AND AFTER HAVING NEW TRUCKS AND TRAILERS REPAIRS WERE ENDLESS. 2 YEARS LATER I FOUND MY SELF WITH PETROTECH HAULING INC. HAULING FUEL TO LOCAL TRUCK STOP AND CONVINCE STORES. THE COMPANY MANAGEMENT FOUND THAT I HAD A VERY MECHANICAL MIND AND SAW A NEED FOR ME MORE IN HELPING WITH REPAIRS. WITH 5 YEARS AND 4 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT AND BECOMING THEIR ONLY AND HEAD MECHANIC IN AS LITTLE AS 1 AND HALF YEARS FROM WORKING ON VOLVO, PACCAR, CUMMINS AND INTERNATIONAL AND TANKERS, I SAW A BETTER WAY OF HELPING MY FELLOW MAN WITH MORE COST-EFFECTIVE WAY OF PROVIDING REPAIR SERVICES.

WITH BEING IN YOUR SHOES FROM WAITING AS MUCH AS 10 HOURS FOR TIRES OR BEING WORRIED OF COST ON MAJOR REPAIRS, I CAN UNDERSTAND THE HARDSHIPS WITH OWNING YOUR EQUIPMENT AND FOR THAT WE AT PEEPODGE GARAGE WILL NEVER FORGOT OUR OWN EXPERIENCES AND APPLY OUR KNOWLEDGE TO SOLVING YOUR PROBLEMS WITH EXPERIENCE, PROFICIENCY AND PROFESSIONALISM.  WE WILL NOT BECOME APART OF YOUR PROBLEM BUT YOUR SOLUTION.

LIKE WE ALWAYS SAY THE ONE THING TRUCKS ARE GOOD AT IS BREAKING DOWN BUT I WOUD LIKE TO ADD "LET PPG NOT ADD TO THAT HEADACHE."

TRUCK, REPAIR, MOBILE, PPG, PEEPODGE GARAGE, KENWORTH, PETERBILT, VOLVO, CAR, PACCAR, CUMMINS, DETROIT, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, INTERNATIONAL, 24/7 BREAKDOWN ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, FREIGHTLINER, TRAILER, TANKER,
